New exhibition : Paolo Spalluto and Michele H Gemini - 30 March - 20 April 2025 - Rostworowski Gallery: ul. św. Jana 20, 31-018 Kraków, Poland

"Coming Full Circle" is a collaborative exhibition of two artists, Paolo Spalluto and Michele Hickey Gemin, exploring the rich tradition of ceramics and the connection between teacher and student. The exhibition's title reflects not only the personal journey of reconnection between the two artists, who first met and worked together in Krakow years ago, but also the profound cyclical nature of the craft itself. Ceramics, an art form that has spanned thousands of years, is built on the exchange of knowledge and skills passed down from teacher to student. In this show, the act of "coming full circle" alludes to both the physical movement of the potter's wheel -its rotation as it shapes the clay- and the deeper implications of growth, transformation and learning that define the craft. Through their work, Paolo and Michele highlight not only their personal stories of mentorship and artistic development but also the collective tradition of ceramic arts as it continues to thrive and evolve. This exhibition celebrates the beauty of tradition, the power of reconnection and the continuous cycle of learning and creation that defines the world of ceramics. Coming Full Circle invites viewers to experience the intersection of the personal and the historical, as two artists come together once again in Krakow, while reflecting on the timelessness of clay and the bonds that shape both life and art.
