embrace simplicity

Founder of Meditau Studio in Krakow, I am a ceramic artist and creative facilitator passionate about combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. With years of experience in ceramics, sculpture, and artistic expression, I specialize in guiding small-group workshops focused on wheel throwing pottery, hand-building, glazing techniques, and mindful creativity. At Meditau Studio, I create a welcoming space where people from all backgrounds can explore ceramics, connect through art, and develop their unique artistic voice.

Born in Italy, I grew up immersed in a culture that breathes art, design, and craftsmanship. Surrounded by timeless beauty and the legacy of Italian creativity, I developed a deep passion for exploring artistic expression, always striving to uncover the personal essence behind each form and technique. My life took a transformative turn during a journey to Kraków, a city that immediately captured my attention. Its peaceful atmosphere, central location in Europe, and multicultural energy made it the perfect place to cultivate my creative pursuits. It felt like a natural extension of my artistic path—a serene yet vibrant environment, where people from diverse backgrounds come together.

Choosing to work and live in Kraków has allowed me to embrace a slower, more intentional pace of life, ideal for delving into my craft. Yet, Italy remains an indispensable part of who I am. I frequently return to my home country, not only to recharge and reconnect with friends but also to draw inspiration from its dynamic art and design scenes. These trips are vital—they remind me of the importance of my roots and keep me engaged with the ever-evolving creative circuits in Italy, where innovation and tradition blend seamlessly. The calm, grounded energy of Kraków paired with the bold, expressive spirit of Italian artistry. Over the years, I have explored various techniques and materials, allowing each phase of my creative journey to shape my unique style. From watercolors to ceramics, my process has evolved to embrace simplicity in form while maintaining depth and complexity in meaning. My pieces often feature strong lines, unexpected textures, and a harmonious balance of earthy and vibrant tones—each one telling a story of exploration, connection, and transformation. In our studio, creating ceramics is more than just an artistic endeavor—it’s a mindful journey.

Through meditation sessions held before workshops, we help participants relax, focus, and fully immerse themselves in the creative process, fostering an atmosphere of calm and connection that brings their best work to life. Today, I primarily work with ceramics, using high-quality European clays and experimenting with techniques like stoneware and raku glazing. My creations range from abstract forms to functional designs, often produced as one-of-a-kind pieces or curated collections for galleries worldwide. Meditau studio in Kraków is more than just a workspace; it’s a sanctuary where art and community come together. Located near the iconic castle, it serves as a gathering place for workshops, meditation sessions, and shared experiences over tea. Here, I aim to inspire others to embrace creativity as a universal language, bridging cultures and fostering connections. Through my work, I strive to honor both my Italian heritage and the life I’ve built in Kraków—a balance of tradition and modernity, boldness and serenity, simplicity and depth. This journey continues to shape not only my art but also my perspective on life, blending the best of two worlds into a singular, evolving vision.
